BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURAL STUDIES/BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE

Admission Requirements:

(i)                 K.C.S.E. Candidates

Overall mean grade C+ and grade C+ in the following subject clusters: English or Kiswahili, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Physical Science or Biological Science, Art and Design or Drawing and Design or Building Construction or Music or Economics or Geography or Social Education and Ethics or History & Government, Christian religious Education / Islamic Religious Education.

 (ii)               ‘A’ Level  Candidates or Equivalent

·         Two Principal passes in Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Art & Design, and a credit pass in English language at K.C.E or equivalent examination.

 (iii)             Diploma Holders

·         A holder of (KNEC) Diploma in Architecture, Building Construction or related fields with a pass or equivalent.

 (iv)             Degree Holders

·         A holder of a degree from a recognized University in the following: Land Economics, Building economics, Design, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning or any other relevant degree.

 In Category (iii) and (iv) above, candidates may be required to present portfolios and appear for interviews
